How The Process Works
After payment, I will request your files to be sent for review.
Format required:
Tracked out .wav or Stereo files (depending on the option selected) with BPM and the key of the song. Please send the rough mix of the song as well. This way I can hear what you have been listening to. If you recorded the vocals in Pro Tools you may send the recording session instead.
Once files are received I will review them to ensure everything lines up as far as timing and address any foreseen problems that may occur. After it is determined everything is a go, we will set a time to have a short phone conversation or Zoom meeting, before I start working on your mix.
During the meeting, I will get your final vision for your song and any important details that you may like me to know or consider. We will discuss other mainstream mixes that you like or may picture your mix sounding like, so have a few references in mind.
Your mix/master will be sent to you for review within 3 to 5 business days. (rush mixes are available upon request for an additional fee if needed)

FAQ'S
How Long Will My Mix/Master Take?
For single mixes, and mastering services I return songs within 3 to 5 business days. For full albums, it will take about a week or a week and a half depending on how intensive the tracks are and the number of tracks. If you are in a rush, please let me know and we can find a way to expedite the process for a small fee.
How do I send my song for mixing?
If you’re using Pro Tools, you can send the session file. (please include all audio files) Remember to convert any midi or virtual instrument tracks to audio because I won't always have the same virtual instruments/sounds that you do.
For all other DAW’s you have two options:
- If you have a rough mix that you have been working on and somewhat like, I would rather start mixing where you left off. So, in that case, I ask you to send one set of the individual tracks “wet” with effects, compression, eq, etc. left on (minus any mix bus limiting) and one set dry with no effects or eq or compression. (If you have auto-tune or any pitch plugins that you like the sound of, you can leave them on the individual tracks as well.
- If you have a really basic ruff mix, and we are mixing the song from scratch you can just send the individual tracks dry.
In both cases, make sure each file starts at bar one and plays to the end of the song. Please include a rough mix in the folder as well. When ready to send, zip (compress) the folders and title them with song name_BPM_key.
Next, pick any upload medium that you desire. i.e, dropbox, box, wetransfer, etc., and upload the zip (compressed) file.
Once you receive the confirmation of payment email, reply with the link for me to download your files.
How do I send my song for mastering?
When sending your two-track mix for mastering, please send as a 24 or 16 bit .WAV file. Turn off all compression, EQ and limiting on the master fader. MP3 files are not acceptable for high quality mastering, and converting them in itunes will not change this. You must bounce or export directly from your mixing software to achieve a true 24bit WAV file.
When you're ready, pick any upload medium that you desire. i.e, dropbox, box, wetransfer, etc., and upload the zip (compressed) file.
Once you receive the confirmation of payment email, reply with the link for me to download your files.
Do You offer a Money Back Guarantee?
Most mixing and mastering companies don’t offer a Money Back Guarantee. It’s understandable, as we don’t have control over where the song was recorded, the quality of the recording, or the expectations of the client.
However, I offered a 50% money-back guarantee for all first-time customers.
That way you have the peace of mind of knowing that you’re going to get a mix that you love or you won’t have to pay much for it.
Please note that 95% of my clients end up becoming long-term clients, as I do everything I can to ensure you’re 100% happy with the final product.
Here’s How it Works:
- Purchase a mixing and mastering option and send the file download link to the email address that you receive from the confirmation email.
- Once confirmed, we'll have a brief meeting, then I'll mix the track. You'll get it back within 3 to 5 business days.
Once you take a listen, you can either:
A. Email me saying that you like the mix and want to move on to the revision process. (Once the revision process starts the money-back guarantee is no longer active.)
B. Email me telling me you don’t like the mix and want your money back.
At this point, I will refund you 50% of your total.
